Amid the increasing ISIS threat, India said on Wednesday it can participate in operations against the terror group under a UN flag if the global body adopts a resolution to the affect. Making this stand clear, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar also said New Delhi is sharing intelligence on the ISIS with other countries.
“We have made it clear that if there is a UN resolution and if there is UN flag and a UN mission, then as per India’s policy to operate under UN flag, we will participate,” the Minister told reporters here after laying wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti on Vijay Diwas.
