Acting Governor Aziz Qureshi took the oath of office at a small function held at Raj Bhawan here on Monday.
Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court, DY Chandrachud administered Qureshi the oath of office. UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, former UP and Uttarakhand CM ND Tiwari along with several State Ministers were present during the ceremony. When scribes asked the new Governor about the law and order situation, Qureshi said that he has arrived and was not aware about anything.
