Bangladesh human trafficking kingpin Mufizur Rehman and 16 others who were on Sunday arrested from the Gulshan colony locality of Kolkata by a team of Uttar Pradesh STF and Kolkata Police were on Sunday remanded to police custody.
The police after conducting a raid in their hideout had seized fake documents including passports, adhaar cards.
The human traffickers used to smuggle out men from India and Bangladesh to countries like Netherlands and other European nations,sources said.
