With a view to giving further fillip to International bilateral Cooperation in Railway Sector, a four-member high level delegation led by chairman Railway Board AK Mital is going on an official visit to China and Japan beginning on June 12. The visit earlier scheduled in the last month was postponed in the wake of large-scale disruption to the train traffic in Northern and Western India due to Gujjar agitation. During their visit to China, the delegation will hold discussions with Head of National Rail Administration of Chinese Government on the ongoing cooperation with Chinese Railways and other related issues.
