Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Thursday said he “is happy” that his one-time Minister and recently-inducted BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma has filed a `100-crore defamation case against him.
On the sidelines of a meeting here, Mr. Gogoi on his reaction to Mr. Himanta’s legal action, said: “I am very happy. I urge him to hasten the legal action against me. It is very good for me. I want to go to jail as soon as possible.”
