Gurgaon Deputy Mayor Parminder Kataria has been booked by police after a woman alleged that he repeatedly raped her on a false promise of marriage and threatened her. According to police spokesman, a case FIR no.27 under IPC sections 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) has been registered on the complaint of the woman against the Deputy Mayor. Investigation will be carried out as per law, he said.
The victim has alleged that Kataria raped her repeatedly after making false promise of marriage.
