Following a warning from a local court in Amreli for issuance of non-bailable warrant in a case of effigy burning, Amreli MlA and leader of Opposition in Gujarat Assembly as well as one more Congress MlA from lathi Constituency and 11 others were forced to appear before the court on Monday.
Sources said they hadn’t appeared before the court despite many dates were given by the court, ultimately the court decided to give them final warning. All the accused had burnt an effigy of BJP-ruled State Government as well as the CM and as result of it a case was filed against them. The court has kept the hearing on February 8 in the matter.
