Raj Kumar Pandian, one of the accused in alleged fake counter cases of Soharabuddin Sheikh and Tulsiram Prajapati and discharged by a special court couple of months back, has been appointed as Inspector General of Junagadh Range. After he was discharged by the court, he was posted as the liaison officer of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) in Mumbai. Now he has been brought in main stream pollicising through recent transfers of 21 IPS officials. Another IPS Abhay Chudasama, also accused in both the encounter cases was similarly posted as Deputy IG of Panchmahal Range in Central Gujarat. Currently he is posted as joint Managing Director of Gujarat Police Housing Corporation.
