One more Gujarat cadre IAS officer is all set to move from Gandhinagar to Delhi as Gujarat’s Principal Secretary for Health & Family Welfare Rajesh Kishore is appointed as Secretary General of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
The 1980-batch IAS officer is considered to be in good books of PM Narendra Modi. Kishore’s performance as CEO of the Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority during 2005 to 2009 was excellent.
Sources in the State General Administrative Department (GAD) said the order was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (Centre) on Thursday.
