Former Delhi BJP president and Rajya Sabha member Vijay Goel, who had been keeping a low profile, has revived interest in the affairs of the party's State unit, after BJP chief Amit Shah is believed to have asked him to be "active" for the upcoming Assembly elections.
Goel has been holding meetings with several leaders and hoardings carrying his pictures can be seen at various places in the national Capital. "Since Shah asked Goel to be active in Delhi's Assembly elections, he has started meeting with RWAs and put up hoardings in various places to apparently show his activeness to Central party leaders," said a senior BJP leader.
