One of the most profit-making Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) of Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertiliser Corporation limited (GNFC) has decided to donate Rs10.50 crore for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative of cleanliness — Swachchha Abhiyan.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the State PSU donated Rs10.57 crore to Gujarat Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The GNFC Chairman and State’s Chief Secretary Varesh Sinha handed over three cheques amounting to Rs10-crore, Rs32-lakh and Rs25-lakh to Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel.
