Crime of passion seems to be on rise in the city of Hyderabad, as a retiree killed his 25-year-old sexual partner while a youngster copied Shahrukh Khan starrer Baazigar by pushing his beloved from the rooftop.
In the first incident, a 60-year-old retired person pushed his sexual partner, a 25-year-old young man in Narayanguda in the wee hours of Tuesday from third floor killing him on the spot. Police said that the youth’s naked body was found outside the building in a pool of blood while the accused Narsing Rao was found in his undergarment in one of the offices in the building. Rao, a retired deputy director in department of industries was known to be gay. The man was arrested and a case of murder and unnatural sex was booked against him.
In the other incident, an inter-community love affair went wrong when the dejected lover tried to kill his beloved. 27-year-old Mohammed Sajid came to the residence of his friend 21-year-old Rupa in Chilkalguda with a cake to greet her on her birthday. On his request Rupa went to the terrace of the building. After some time the girl fell on the asbestos roof of an adjoining house and suffered injuries while Sajid managed to flee from the scene. later police nabbed him.He told the police that he had an affair with the girl for last seven years but now he had become angry as Rupa had started going around with another boy.
The injured girl was undergoing treatment at a city hospital.
