Ghaziabad Development Authority in its ambitious project City Forest Sahibabad launched several schemes and on this occasion cultural events were also organized.
The chief guest of the function was Asha Sharma, Mayor of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation and Sunil Sharma, MLA from Sahibabad. The function was presided over by GDA vice president Kanchan Verma. On this occasion, Asha Sharma and Sunil Sharma inaugurated the City Forest Carnival by lighting a lamp.
In his address, Asha Sharma described City Forest as the pride of Ghaziabad and said that today the GDA has given two libraries, restaurants, ticket counters, information centers, open theater etc. to the public.
On this occasion, MLA Sunil Sharma said that it is a matter of his good fortune that several schemes were launched today in his constituency inside the City Forest.
On this occasion, he got a chance to join, he is happy. In the city forest, where the libraries will give information to the people, the same environmental library will help the people to conserve the environment.
The open theater, which has seating for 500 people, will entertain and people will be able to organize their own small events in the canteen.
