A gang-rape victim, who was undergoing treatment after a bullet injury by her rapists, died on Tuesday night in GTB Hospital in New Delhi.
The victim, a 35-year-old married woman, was living in her flat with her family members at her house in Noida’s Sector-44 on March 31. On the day of incident, her neighbours — Raju, Aman and Gulshan — barged into her house and raped her. When the victim opposed, they thrashed her and fired a bullet. The accused then escaped from the house leaving her in pool of blood. The incident came to light when her family members reached the house. After initial investigation, police arrested the trio. Meanwhile, the accused have also accepted that they have been stalking the victim since long.
