As many as four people, including a woman were killed and eight injured in hit-and-run case allegedly involving the son of a local industrialist in Gandhidham town in Kutch district of Gujarat.
A rushing SUV first hit a two-wheeler and result of it the driver lost control and ran over people sleeping on footpath during the wee hours on Tuesday.
Three people including a woman died on the spot while one succumbed in the afternoon. After the incident the accused fled with his vehicle. However some of the witnesses identified the accused and according to them he is allegedly son of a local industrialist. Police have initiated probe.
