Sri M Nageswara Rao, National President of the Sarvjan Sanatan Party (SSP) and former CBI Director, unveiled Parvatodaya Sankalp — A New Dawn for Devbhumi — in Dehradun. He said SSP was formed as an all-India party to challenge the failures of established political parties, restore people-centric governance and protect Bharat’s civilisational identity.
“Uttarakhand was built through sacrifice; it must not be lost to political loot.” Sri Rao said 26 years of Congress and BJP Governments failed to stem migration or ensure adequate livelihoods, quality education, and healthcare.
On mountain development, Sri Rao announced 20 Hill Growth Centres to create local livelihoods through agriculture, horticulture, food processing, tourism, skills and digital services, while protecting Devbhumi’s civilisational identity.
On Bhu-Kanoon, Sri Rao pledged a strong, effective and transparent law to curb land speculation and unrestricted purchases that threaten the land rights of original residents and mountain communities. “Devbhumi’s land must serve its people, not speculators”, and on live-in relationships, Sri Rao said the UCC’s provisions undermine Sanatan civilisational values and pledged to repeal Part 3 of the Code.
On the Ankita Bhandari case, Sri Rao said, “Ankita Bhandari was Uttarakhand’s daughter.” He accused the BJP Government of failing to deliver justice and pledged to ensure that every responsible person is punished, no matter how powerful. “No one is above the law.”
Sri Rao announced that SSP would contest all 70 Assembly constituencies in the forthcoming Uttarakhand Assembly election. He appealed to voters: “26 years of Congress and BJP. Now, give SSP a chance to secure Uttarakhand’s future!”
