Two-time former Assam Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta met with an accident on Tuesday evening in Central Assam’s Nagaon district.
The senior Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) leader on his way to him constituency from Guwahati when a truck coming from opposite direction hit the vehicle he was travelling in near Bebejia in Nagaon district.
An AGP spokesman said that Mahanta received minor injuries during the accident.
He was taken to the local nursing home immediately and his condition is stated to be alright now.
