Both the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be out of the country later this month. While K Chandrasekhar Rao is heading for China and Gulf countries, his Andhra Pradesh counterpart will be visiting Davos to attend Economic Forum. Naidu, who was a familiar face at Davos conference during his earlier tenure as Chief Minister, will be there from January 21 to 24. He will be accompanied by the State Finance Minister Y Ramakrishnudu and other Ministers and officials to woo the foreign investors.

KCR on the other hand will be in China to invite Chinese investors and big companies to set up their projects in Telangana.  He will also visit several Gulf countries from January 18 to 22.

Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu said that his Government was working to turn Andhra Pradesh into a smart State and logistics hub. Addressing India-Australia Business Summit in New Delhi, organised by Confederation of Indian Industry on Monday, he said that the new capital of his State would be a world class city to be built with the cooperation of the Centre. He also met Australia’s trade and investment Minister Andrew Robb.

But before heading for China, schedule of which was being finalised, K Chandraskhar Rao will visit many Gulf States, including United Arab Emirates.

According to official sources, his visit from January 18 to 22 will include Dubai, Qatar and Oman. He will meet the top leaders and investors during the visit and invite them to take advantage of the available opportunities in the new State of Telangana.
