A minor fire broke out at room number-148 of the Parliament Annexe on Friday morning. No causalities were reported. According to a fire official a call was received at 8:40am regarding the fire. Twelve fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Prima facie a short circuit in the air conditioner might have caused the fire. In another incident reported from North Delhi's Roshanara Road three persons of a family sustained burn injuries after the gas from the lPG cylinder leaked causing a fire. The fire department received a call at 7:19am. Four fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire officials had a tough time as the lanes were narrow and the fire engine could not be taken inside. Extra pipes had to be brought to control the fire. "Mahesh (45) suffered 10 percent burn injuries while his wife Premavti (55) suffered 5 percent burn injuries and their son David (20) suffered 10 percent burn injuries," said a fire official. A police team reached the location and is investigating.

In another incident reported from East Delhi's Sangam Vihar area a 55-year old woman sustained burn injuries after her one room flat caught fire.
