Published on:

Minister of State for Jal Shakti, Social Justice and Empowerment Rattan lal Kataria, expressed his displeasure at the malicious designs of some motivated organisations to run a false propaganda against India by misinforming few International personalities.

He termed the farm laws and the agitation associated against it as an internal matter of the country. He suggested everybody especially noted international personalities to understand the sensitivity of this issue and refrain from making flawed judgments based on half baked facts and knowledge. He stressed the need to be fully informed about the farm bills and its provisions to have a meaningful and constructive debate on the matter. Irresponsible statements shall bring only shame and embarrassment for the country, he added.

He said — the Ministry of External Affairs has also objected to irresponsible statements made by few personalities/foreign entities with vested interests on the farmer’s protest. He mentioned that noted Indian personalities from sports, art and culture have come out and issued statements against the unsolicited and unwarranted intervention in the domestic affairs of our country.

On statement issued by Mr Rahul Gandhi, that Government should release people arrested for causing unrest and violence in Delhi on the republic day, Mr Kataria lambasted him for the contradictory stand maintained by him. Exposing the double speak, Mr Kataria informed that the congress party had termed the miscreants as workers of BJP and advocated their immediate arrest. Now, when the Government has swiftly swung into action and arrested miscreants through proper identification — analyzing the visuals and CCTV footage, Mr Rahul Gandhi is raising voice for their release. He asked Mr Gandhi to immediately stop exploiting the sensitive situation and to firmly decide on his stand. Mr Kataria suggested that Mr Gandhi refrain from making any further statements and scoring own goals every other time. He added that the Modi Government is open for talks and threadbare - clause by clause discussion of the 3 farm laws.
