From Clean Ganga to Green Ganga is the latest catchphrase of Namami Gange. It will carry out a five year long programme on reforestation in the five States of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar and West-Bengal during a five year period from 2016-2021.
A Detailed Project Report (DPR) underlining the specific activities to be taken up during the period was released jointly by the Minister For Water Resources & Ganga Rejuvenation, Uma Bharati and Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday.
