Former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha trained his guns on the Central Government over the devaluation of the Indian currency against US dollar, saying that the Rupee has gone in to a ‘coma’.
Speaking at Ahmedabad at a function of Rashtra Manch headed by former Gujarat Chief Minister Suresh Mehta, the former BJP leader said that when Narendra Modi was Gujarat Chief Minister he made a statement that Rupee was in ICU when the Indian currency was at Rs 60 against the US dollar, but now Rupee has made all time low at almost Rs 75 per one dollar.
He criticised the Modi Government at Centre over Rafale deal saying that no one, even the Prime Minister of India, has the right to violate the Defense Procurement Procedure. Reacting to the recent attacks on North Indian migrants in the state of Gujarat, Sinha said that it was the responsibility of the State Government to provide safety and security. A rebel BJP leader and MP Shatrughan Sinha too hit out at the Government and BJP leadership at the Centre saying the party has dodged in ‘One Man Show, Two men Army’ referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah.
He went on to say that there is no democracy in the party, only autocracy.
