Ex-AIIMS CVO to be head of AAP's anti-graft panel?

Published on:

After being removed as the chief vigilance officer (CVO) of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), whistleblower Sanjiv Chaturvedi is speculated to be made the head of Aam Aadmi Party’s anti-graft committee. Sources have said that Chief Minister-designate Arvind Kejriwal has been keen on asking for the return of the senior IFS officer from his current central cadre. Kejriwal wasn’t to use his services for running the party’s anti-graft cell.

However, Chaturvedi did not confirm this to the media on Friday. He said that he hadn’t got any official word for such an appointment from the party. Chaturvedi was removed without warning from his post of CVO in AIIMS by then Health Minister Harsh Vardhan. However, he is currently working as the deputy secretary at AIIMS.
