EU will raise rights violation in J&K during G20: Kashmir Council EU head Ali Raza

The head of the separatist Kashmir Council EU, Ali Raza Syed on Monday claimed in Brussels that the European Union will raise the issue of so-called rights violation in Jammu and Kashmir during the G20 Summit here.

Syed, part of the Pakistani deep state, buttressed his claim by quoting the purported recent statement of the European Union Vice President and Foreign Minister Joseph Borrell about the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

Syed  is suspected to be a sympathizer of the Uyghur terrorists of Xinxiang in China as part of the larger agenda of the Pakistan army-ISI (Inter-Services) combine to fleece Beijing in the garb of securing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor from the Baloch nationalists.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in response to a joint letter from a group of members of the European Parliament, Borrell expressed concern on the “situation” in the Valley.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the European Union has also reportedly said that he will share the concerns with the Indian counterparts on appropriate occasions. He also holds positions at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva.

He claimed that while detailing the various occasions in the letter, it has been said that the issue of Kashmiri human rights leader Khurram Pervaiz in Jammu and Kashmir was also raised during the discussions on human rights with India.

Borrell, according to the Kashmir Council EU, said that although a delegation of the European Union will represent the Union at the G-20 summit, the minister is claimed to have asserted that the incidents of human rights violations should be recognized by international human rights organizations.

There should be an immediate and transparent comprehensive investigation as per the rules and regulations. However, he said, we continue to encourage India and Pakistan to find a lasting solution to the Kashmir dispute through positive dialogue and involving the Kashmiri people as far as possible. A durable solution to the Kashmir conflict will have a major positive impact on the peace and security situation in the entire South Asian region, claimed the separatist outfit based in Brussels.
