District Magistrate B.N. Singh held a coordination meeting regarding Road Safety Month in the Collectorate auditorium on Monday.
During it the district magistrate stated that first of all, along with making the government employees follow the traffic rules, information about traffic rules should be given to the people by running a campaign in the district.
He said that the work of repairing the roads built on both sides of the overbridge on Varanasi-Shaktinagar road in the Nagar Palika Parishad area should be ensured in a quality manner by Jal Nigam and Uttar Pradesh State Highways Authority (UPSHA).
The district magistrate said that all officials should ensure that information about road safety and traffic rules is given to the general public. ARTO Rajeshwar Yadav, Executive Engineer PWD Shailesh Thakur, Additional District Information Officer Vinay Kumar Singh and thers were present.
