Both Bahujan Samaj Party and Congress flayed the ruling BJP for celebrating one year in office claiming that it was more of ‘Ek Saal-Janta Behal’ as the Government failed to forward any relief to the masses. Reacting to BJP’s ‘Ek Saal, Nai Misal’ slogan to celebrate the first anniversary of the Yogi Government, Mayawati said that it should ideally be ‘Ek Saal, Bura Misal’.
‘This BJP Government has failed the people in just a year of its rule. It simpact could be seen in Gorakhpur and Phulpur lok Sabha bypolls where people rebuffed the BJP for their tall claims and no achievements,” said Mayawati.
In a statement issued in lucknow on Monday, the BSP chief said that the BJP failed to the keep up public expectations and even in Urban local Bodies poll, it lost from the Chief Minister’s ward in Gorakhpur. “The BJP won the 2017 UP Assembly polls by dividing the society on communal and caste lines. But now people have started realising their fault and were rejecting the BJP in elections,” she said.
