A 22-year old girl succumbed to her injuries that she received in an accident, along with her four other friends, on Yamuna Expressway on Saturday night. The accident took place when they were travelling in an Etios car from Delhi to Mathura. Police said deceased Puja was from Raja Bajar, Gol Market in New Delhi. She was pursuing graduation in Bachelor of Art (BA) from DU’s School of Open learning.
According to police, Puja, along with Neha, Prince, Gaurav and Shiv Kumar, was on her way to Mathura. As they reached near Pari Chowk, an unidentified vehicle hit their car casuing their car to overturn. All injured were rushed to Shardha Hospital here. Puja could not survive as she had received head injuries.
