Didi sniffs conspiracy as RSS decries TMC minoritism

The gradual decline of Marxism or for that matter Gandhism in Bengal seem to have brought Mamata Banerjee and RSS face to face.

No wonder the RSS has strongly condemned the Mamata Banerjee Government for its alleged mollycoddling of the minorities and creating a communal atmosphere in the name of secularism.

The Chief Minister has retorted by asking the people to remain on high alert against conspiracies being hatched to create communal disturbance in the State.

“We want the people to remain on alert and not fall in the communal traps being laid by a group of people. The Government will not tolerate fanning of any communal problem in the State,” Banerjee is known to have told senior Trinamool Congress and Government functionaries.

Though Mamta Banejee would not name any particular outfit or group, she was quoted as saying “there is a conspiracy being hatched to divide the people of Bengal. Some people are involved in this nefarious activity to reap political dividends even at the cost of rich heritage of Bengal.”

Incidentally the Sangh has decided to undertake a six-month programme to sensitise the people against the growing menace of minoritism so to say. The saffron group has questioned a senior Bengal Minister’s statement to a Pakistan media saying his constituency was “mini Pakistan.”

The group has also questioned Chief Minister’s decision to send a “rank communal person responsible for a number of communal riots toRajya Sabha.”
