Delhi Police has arrested a dhaba owner, Abhishek, and his two friends — Anil Dangai and Manoj Yadav — for allegedly murdering a woman to implicate the brother of his ex-fiancée. The body of a woman wrapped in a bed-sheet was found lying in a drain in Dwarka on May 11.
According to police, the identity of the woman has not established yet, but a mobile phone found during investigation contained a video wherein the victim said that one Karan wanted to eliminate her. Further investigation led the police to one Abhishek (32) of Sector 11 Dwarka and he was arrested.
The story emerged that Abhishek had murdered the woman, Preeti, along with
his two friends to
implicate the brother of his ex-fiancée, Karan.
On May 10, Abhishek along with his two friends called Preeti to his house and persuaded her to join them in implicating Karan.
As per the plan, the trio made Preeti records a video saying that Karan could eliminate her. The three then strangled her and dumped her body in the drain and Abhishek made a call to the Police Control Room. Anil is unemployed and Manoj is a realtor.
