Delhi longevity summit to assess claims on evidence

The International Association of Stemcell & Regenerative Medicine (IASRM) will hold the Healthspan Standard 2027, a two-day summit on longevity and regenerative medicine, in New Delhi on 10 and 11 April 2027.

Every claim presented will carry its evidence tier, and delegates will adopt a Charter on clinical practice in the field. The organisers say the summit responds to a gap between public interest in longevity and the evidence behind it, with claims reaching patients faster than the studies that justify them.

Under a”House Rule”, each lecture, talk and assessment station must state whether its main claim rests on a human randomised trial, human observational data, animal studies or mechanism alone. The rule applies to the organisers too.

The programme includes 36 lectures, 30 rapid-fire talks and three panels, covering ageing biology, metabolic health, nutrition, exercise, regenerative medicine and cancer risk.

Several sessions focus on Indian patients, including the South Asian cardiometabolic profile, vegetarian protein intake, and the evidence for yoga, pranayama and Ayurvedic rasayana. One panel will debate whether protocols developed in Western cohorts can be applied to Indian patients without modification.
