Kejriwal, Medha Patkar and Sanyal had been booked under relevant sections of the Bombay Police Act.  Ms Patkar and Ms Sanyal had earlier completed the bail bound procedures, Kejriwal attended the court to complete the procedures.

Kejriwal had earlier moved the Bombay HC seeking quashing of the FIR and exemption from appearing before the magistrate’s court. However, the HC had refused to quash the FIR and asked Kejriwal to appear before the magistrate’s court.
