Concerned over poor security in trains on Delhi-Deoband rail route leading to thrashing of Muslim students, South Asia’s leading Islamic Seminary, Darul Uloom
Deoband postponed executive committee’s meeting scheduled on September 23.
“From past two months seminary students were under attack in trains, which the Government Railway Police have failed to stop. Even a common Muslim with beard and skull cap are beaten badly by the miscreants many at times. In such conditions, we cannot risk the lives of elderly member of Seminary’s executive committee,” said Public Relation Officer (PRO), Darul Uloom Deoband, Ashraf Nomani.
