The CPI(M) delegation of MlAs and MPs from West Bengal will meet President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday for demanding high-level probe on the chit fund scams in the State.
The delegation will be led by CPI(M) leaders Sitram Yechury and Surjo Kanata Misra is expected to demand CBI probe including the probe by central agencies dealing with financial scams, alleging the “cover up” by TMC-led Government in West Bengal.
“Will demand a neutral, fair and high-level investigation into the massive fraud committed by the Saradha group of companies as well as for the return of thousands of crore of rupees to all the affected depositors immediately,” said CPI(M) in a statement.
