Cow milk contains gold, claims Bengal BJP prez Dilip Ghosh

Apparently following in the footsteps of some of his party colleagues in Delhi, Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh on Tuesday advised people to conserve and host cows as the animal produces gold.

Addressing a crowd, Ghosh said “the cow milk is a slight yellowish compared to the other milks which are completely white. This is because there is gold in the cow milk.”

Buttressing his argument further, the leader said the gold in the cow milk is produced from its hunch. “Unlike the Australian, Fizi or Jersey cows which almost have no hunch, our Indian cow has a bigger hunch on the back. There is a nerve in that hunch that produces gold after in contact to the sun rays,” the leader said amid cheers from the audience.

The leader advised “it is better to possess, conserve and raise Indian cows as against the foreign breeds as that will provide you a golden harvest. In fact it is also advisable to use Indian cow milk for performing Pujas as against the milk of other cows because they have low spiritual value.”

As Ghosh’s statement hit the market meeting with myriad reactions the Trinamool Congress leaders dismissed his comments as one that lacked in intellectual content.

“The cow milk may have gold according to him but his statement has no intellect in it and is fit to be consumed by the cows only,” one of the TMC leaders said while senior Minister Subroto Mukherjee wondered “what to say about his comments. I have no answer for such statements.

I can only say that he and likes of him are taking India and Bengal back to the medieval ages.”
