Three covid patients molested and abused on-duty nurse in Deen Dayal Covid Hospital's ward number 5. On objection, they created a ruckus in the ward. When the doctors arrived to calm them, they also started abusing doctors and ran to beat them. Somehow doctors and patients saved their lives by escaping from the ward. Hospital management has accused the police of negligence. Police have registered a case and started an investigation against accused infected patients.
CMS Dr. AB Singh, of the hospital, said that 3 Covid patients of Gonda and Iglas are admitted in Ward 5 since 1 week. They were frequently demanding tea but not drinking. When the nurse objected this, they hold her hand. When the hospital management came to know about the incident, Dr. Ankit went to the ward to talk to them, on which those patients started abusing the doctor and attacked him, but the doctor ran away and saved his life.
The information of the incident was given to the police, but despite repeated calls, the police did not come. Later, police helpline 112 was called and asked for help. Kwarsi police reached the hospital on the information. A complaint has been given against the three in Kwarsi police station to register a case.
CMS Dr. AB Singh told that earlier police were deployed in the security of the hospital but now the police is not seen anywhere.
After informing the police regarding the incident, hospital management has asked to shift these patients to the second ward, but the police ignored it. Hospital management kept calling the police, but the police continued to make the excuse of VIP duty.
Kwarsi Inspector Chotelal said that a case has been registered against accused patients for molesting and abusing the nurse under section 354 and 506. The investigation is going on. Police is deployed in the hospital for security. Due to VIP duty, the number of deployed police personnel was reduced for some time.
Stone pelting on the team who went to pick up the covid infected person in Kanchanpur village of Bijauli
The health department team that went to pick up the Corona patient in Bijauli village of Aligarh was attacked by the villagers, somehow the team escaped and saved their lives. Meanwhile, 2 corona-infected patients escaped from the village. On information, police reached the spot after which one patient returned but another was not. A complaint has been given in Bijauli police station in connection with the incident.
According to CMO Anupam Bhaskar, the health department team in Bijauli did an antigen test at Kanchanpur village in which 2 people were found corona infected, after which the health department team went to the village to admit them, on which Villagers started stone pelting on the team, meanwhile both positive patients ran away. Somehow the team saved their life and informed the police. The police reached the spot on the information of the incident, after which one patient was found but another still missing for which police still searching. A complaint has been given by Bijauli CHC in the police station.
According to SP village Shubham Patel, the health department team went to admit the corona positive patient in Kanchanpur village. The team took one patient with them while the other was escaped. Police are investigating the case.
