Yadav Singh, then chief engineer of the NOIDA/Greater Noida/Yamuna Expressway, has already spent six days in the custody of the Central Bureau of Investigation.

The CBI presented a huge quantity of material related to the case in the court of Special Judge G Sridevi. It sought an eight-day remand saying it needed to unearth the corrupt practices from among 2,000 files related to the wrongful award of contracts.
