Congress Members of Parliament from Telangana region continued their protest outside the Parliament demanding formation of Telangana State.
The MPs Ponam Prabhakar, S Rajiah, G Vivek Gutta Sukhinder Reddy and Manda Jagannadham stage a sit-in protest at main entrance of Parliament in New Delhi and demanded resolution of Telangana issue.
The MPs have already sent their resignation from Parliament to the party president Sonia Gandhi but have not been able to make the Congress high command bow to their pressure. Speculations are rife that many of these MPs were likely to join TRS before the next elections.
