Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has literally charged the BJP, Congress and the left with match fixing.

Addressing workers’ meet in Murshidabad and North Dinajpur, the Bengal Chief Minister on Thursday said while the Congress and the Marxists had entered into clandestine understanding ahead of polls they were paying the BJP for dividing vote of the Trinamool Congress.

“The Congress, BJP and CPI(M) are playing a ‘got up game’. While the Congress and CPI(M) are helping each other in constituencies where neither of the parties can win against the TMC and the BJP is getting paid by these parties for stealing away the our vote share,” the Chief Minister thundered at Murshidabad, giving vent to her party’s rising concern for the rising vote share of the saffron party in Bengal.

According to the opinion polls, the BJP’s vote share had increased to a whopping 14-15 percent from four-five per cent in the past one year or so.Claiming that only she could stop the saffron surge in India, Banerjee said the TMC will be launched in a big way in Delhi in the coming months.

“Neither the Congress nor the left have the wherewithal to take on the BJP and it is only the Trinamool Congress that can stop the BJP,” she said adding her party would “definitely play a big role at the Centre after the elections.”

Incidentally a section of Muslim clerics in Bengal have advised her to tally with the Congress after the elections and have not taken her decision to field candidates against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi kindly .

At Itahar town in North Dinajpur Banerjee said her party singlehandedly was fighting against the triple entente of BJP, Congress and the left adding voting any one of them would mean voting the other two as all these parties want the Trinamool Congress’ votes to be divided.

Accusing these parties for “playing communal card ahead of the elections” she said while the Congress and the left shed tears for the Muslims only before the polls the BJP tried to appease the Hindus in a similar manner “but in reality none of them does any meaningful work for these communities.”

Aware that too much appeasement of the minority community was uniting the Hindus against her Banerjee said hers was the real secular party as “it is only the Trinamool Congress which works for the people irrespective of their religion, community, caste or class.” While Murshidabad with three seats currently held by the Congress is a strong bastion of PCC president and junior Railway Minister Adhir Chowdhury, North Dinajpur is the backyard of Union Minister Deepa Dasmunshi wife of the former Union Minister PR Dasmunshi. The Trinamool Congress has fielded Deepa  Dasmunshi’s brother-in-law SR Dasmunshi from the Raiganj seat. CPI(M) has fielded Md Salim from the seat.
