Cong woman creates ruckus over ticket distribution

Infighting within the Congress resurfaced before Congress-in-charge Choudhary Birender Singh on Thursday when a lady known as Savita Thapa created ruckus and alleged that party leaders are violating the instruction of AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi, who had categorically said that only such workers who have served the party for more than five years, will be considered for ticket by the party.

This particular incident has given enough hint that coming days would be crucial for the congress, which is busy in distribution of ticket, and their leader because later they will have to deal with dissidence as well.

Savita Thapa alleged that she has been working in Congress sewa dal for the last 25 years but she is not being considered for ward no 18 in Sahastradhara road. Taking cognizance on her plea Choudhary asked what is the status of the seat then she said  the seat belongs to General category then he outrightly refused to consider her name for the ward.
