Cong wants to delay construction of Ram Mandir, says Maharaj

Alleging that Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was changing colours like a chameleon, controversial BJP’s member of Parliament Sakshi Maharaj on Monday charged the Congress saying the party wanted to delay the construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya.

“It is the Congress which has been trying to force delay in Supreme Court verdict in Ayodhya dispute.

If we talk about the inner conscious of Congress leader and Ayodhya lawyer Kapil Sibal, he too wants early Ram Temple at Ayodhya, but is trying to delay it on the directives of the party,” he claimed.

Addressing media persons in Etah, the BJP MP from Unnao said, “A person who earlier said that lord Rama was a mythological figure, is now going to every temple in Gujarat and even posting photos of sporting religious thread. This shows how a person can changes.”

“We welcome Rahul Gandhi for becoming a Ram Bhakt like Narendra Modi. But he should talk about the early construction of Ram Temple, rather than trying to delay it through his leaders.

I can assure the countrymen that Ram temple will be constructed very soon at any cost,” the BJP MP said.
