Congress leader Sunil Sahay’s bodyguard was interrogated by lalpur Police in connection with the raid of April 7. He has admitted that the Sahay brothers — Sunil and former Union Minister Subodh Kant — had come to the hotel after Sundari Tirkey’s arrival, but denied any knowledge about the money which was seized.
“The bodyguard of Sunil Sahay was interrogated by us and said Subodh Kant and Sunil had come to the hotel. Sundari Tirkey’s bodyguard will also be interrogated later in the evening,” said City SP Manoj Ratan Chauthe. The police are yet to disclose names of the two bodyguards.
