Kerala’s senior Congress leader TH Musthaffa was on Thursday suspended from the party for likening its vice-president Rahul Gandhi to a joker and asking for his resignation taking the responsibility for the party’s terrible defeat in the 16th lok Sabha polls.
State Congress chief VM Sudheeran said the decision to suspend Musthaffa, a former Minister and a leader who had stood with the party for over six decades, was taken unanimously by the executive committee of the Kerala PCC which met in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday.
