Cong files case against 'Sacred Games' players

Apparently irked by the sacred games allegedly being played to “insult” late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, a Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee member has lodged a complaint against film actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the producers of the serial Sacred Games. Rajiv Sharma, a PCC member and the complainant, on Thursday said that the serial had scenes where the

protagonist was seen using bad language against the late Prime Minister. “It is seen that he is being called a ‘Fattu’ which is a dirty word to allude to a coward,” the leader said adding the “serial has hurt our sentiments as Congressmen.” Alleging that the serial had crossed all its limits of decency Sinha said, “There are many facts given about Rajiv ji in the serial which are utterly incorrect.”
