In a significant initiative towards employee welfare and accessible healthcare, Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL), a Mini-Ratna company and subsidiary of Coal India Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HLL Lifecare Limited, a Government of India enterprise, for setting up, operating and maintaining an ‘AMRIT Pharmacy’ at CMPDIL Headquarters, Ranchi.
The MoU was signed by Sanjay Kadambar, General Manager (HR), on behalf of CMPDIL, and Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Deputy General Manager & Regional Manager (Retail Business Division), on behalf of HLL Lifecare Limited, in the presence of Shri Chaudhari Shivraj Singh, CMD, CMPDI, and other dignitaries.
The initiative aims to provide affordable medicines and allied healthcare products to CMPDIL employees, their dependents and the general public, ensuring convenient access to essential healthcare products at affordable prices. The pharmacy will supply medicines, surgical items, implants and other related healthcare products within the CMPDIL premises.
The establishment of the AMRIT Pharmacy reflects CMPDIL’s commitment to employee welfare and social responsibility. By facilitating access to affordable medicines within its premises, the initiative is expected to enhance healthcare convenience for employees and their families while extending its benefits to the wider community.
