Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki and his Council of Ministers are unlikely to attend the Assembly Session convened by the Governor from Wednesday.

“We met the Governor today and requested him to reconsider his decision. He did not respond to our request,” the CM told The Pioneer.

“We do not have official information about the Session. The official Session is from January 14 onwards and we only know from the media that Session has been preponed from December 16 this year. There is no proper official communication in this regard,” he said.

Meanwhile, there are also reports that the Speaker of the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly has disqualified 14 dissident legislators, including son of former CM Prema Khandu, leader of dissident camp Kalikho Pul and Deputy Speaker TN Thongdok.
