Amravati, Jul 26 (PTI) Chief Justice of India (CJI) B R Gavai on Saturday announced that he will not accept any government post after his retirement and will focus on consultation and arbitration work instead.
“I have declared this on several occasions in the past that I will not accept any government position after November 24. I will do consultation and arbitration,” CJI Gavai stated.
He made these remarks while inaugurating the Late T R Gilda Memorial E-Library at the Amravati District and Sessions Court.
CJI Gavai is set to retire on November 23 this year.
