Important changes are expected in the Rashtriya Swayemsevak Sangh (RSS), Vishwa Hindu Partishad (VHP), Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM), Bhartiya Majdoor Sangh, and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) after Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), the top RSS decision making body, meets at Nagpur in March.
The ABPS which would be meeting in the backdrop of the controversy involving VHP’s International Working president Praveen Togadia, is to discuss all the issues concerning the organisation and its outfits and take “important decisions” after reaching “consensus”, sources said.
The national General Secretary of the RSS Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, the present GS, 70, is likely to give way to the incumbent RSS joint GS Dattatreya Hosabale, eight years younger to the former.
In the event of Hosabale moving up the ladder there could be further changes in the posts of RSS Joint-General Secretaries, sources said.
Presently, there are three joint General-Suresh Soni, Krishan Gopal and Hosabale. Joshi, appointed GS for three consecutive term, would complete his current tenure in March when ABPS meets for three-days.
