Heads are set to roll in Chhattisgarh as embarrassed State Government on Thursday ordered a magisterial probe after a few blood-stained uniform and boots of CRPF martyrs were found dumped in garbage at a Government hospital premise.
Stunned by a sheer disrespect to deceased CRPF jawans of Sukma attack, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) too ordered an enquiry. Acting CRPF chief RC Tayal said a probe would be conducted into the shocking incident and a report would be submitted soon to find out how it had happened.
“CM Raman Singh has taken a serious note of uniform and boots found dumped in garbage at Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Government Hosp-ital premise in Raipur on Wednesday and has ordered a magisterial probe,” a Gover-nment statement informed.
It added that Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Raipur Suresh Kumar Agrawal has been asked to conduct a probe into the entire matter and submit his report within 15 days.
The probe will largely focus on three angles — the procedure of disposing off the uniforms and other belongings of the martyred para-military troopers, how it was disposed off and who are guilty for the incident.
