The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of Government of India has sanctioned ‘Centre of Excellence for Internet of Things (IoT) to Andhra Pradesh to establish in Visakhapatnam. The Administrative approval was reached on Friday to State’s IT Minister Nara lokesh. lokesh has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of Electronics for their support in granting prestigious institute to Andhra Pradesh.
“The dreams of the Chief Minister started realising. The State Government is going to establish many more centres of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence, Data Security etc in Andhra Pradesh,” lokesh said.
In a Press conference held along with his Principle Secretary K Vijayanand and Advisor JA Chowdary, he said to counter hackers both in Government and Private where more technology is in usage, the State Government preparing a blueprint on Cyber Security.
In the process creating of IT revolution in the State, a high level Conference is being conducted in Visakhapatnam in the second week of October on Block Chain Technologies, he informed, in which international experts from many foreign countries are participating.
