Though latha Pillai, director, RGNIYD, said no raids were conducted by the CBI in the institute, she said some officials from the CBI had ‘visited’ the institute on Wednesday and asked for ‘some’ information.

Sources in the institute said that the CBI officials thoroughly examined the office and residence of T Gopinath, an assistant professor and co-ordinator of the Centre for International Co-operation, RGNIYD.
